God’s grace through Jesus Christ

The Bible says in Acts 20:24, “But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”

Did you notice it does not say the most essential thing in life is to get married, get a job, travel the world, or become famous? It says the most important thing in life is to fulfill your mission. And one of your missions is to go into the world and proclaim the good news to all of creation, the good news of God’s grace through Jesus Christ.

Think about it; you know Christ because somebody told you about Him. Now, who are you going to tell? Let’s think about it this way: If somebody died for you, wouldn’t you want to know about it?

Because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you and I can now walk in newness of life! Click To Tweet

Easter is a couple of weeks away, and at this time of year, people are more open to an invitation to come to church than at any other time of the year. Do not waste that opportunity! Do not go to an Easter service to hear the best news in the world without bringing someone with you who needs to hear it also. If you cannot think of anyone, start praying that God would open up your heart to see people around you who are desperate for the good news of grace through Jesus Christ.

Lastly, the way we show our gratitude for the grace of God is by making our own lives count, by living a life of extravagant generosity, and by telling as many people as we can about the love and grace of Jesus Christ.

Who can you invite to attend an Easter service with you? How will you approach that person?
